Monolog Troy -- (talking to Death)

 In this monolog the main character is Troy, he is talking to death that came to the women that gave berth to Troys baby. In Troys speech we can see and understand  that he is upset and angry, he started talking to death and describes what he will do to stop her and when death should come for him. His monolog with death was shot in the house at late night after his girlfriend died, it was really powerful monolog with all emotions that there are. I choose this monolog because it shows how men being so brave and strong for everybody for a moment becomes weak and helpless. 

 Alright Mr. Death. see now... I'm gonna tell you what I'm gonna do.I'm gonna build me a fence around what belongs to me. And then I want you to stay on the other side. Then when you ready for me, When the top of your list say Troy Maxon thats when you come around me. Bring you army, bring your sickle. You aint gonna sneak up on me no more. You come up knock on the front door. Aint nobody else got nothing to do with this. Man to man but for right now you stay on the other side of the fences.

The name of the play is “The Caucasian Chalk Circle” by Bertolt Brecht written in 1944 while he was living in America. Interesting fact about the performance is that it was initially made for Broadway, but the play didn’t go that far so students started presenting it in their schools and colleges. Ch 6/7

Chapter 6 starts with the description of the environment, and the growth of the seeds after the storm season which brought a large amount of rain on to the island. Later in the chapter, we can witness the conversation that Desiree is having with Tonton. That conversation shows the reader the conflict and the difference between the poor and the rich. Their conversation is mainly focused on Tonto describing his hometown Monsieur beau home. After listening to Tonto for a long time and hearing all those tempting things about Monsieur beau home, she is desperate to leave her village and see new opportunities and new life. "Caroline's Wedding"

The story that includes many characters and their struggle throughout the Story. "Caroline's Wedding" contains 3 main characters; the narrator Grace, older sister Caroline, and their mother Hermine. Each character has her own obstacle to get through.  The story begins with Grace receiving good news from the embassy, saying that she received U.S citizenship. She immediately called her mother and sister and shared the good news.
