The project that we did in today's class was about casting characters from the play Romeo and Juliet. Our assignment was to pick 10 characters from the play and create virtual stats in the manner of objects, that will show characters characteristics. My group decided to cast Rome ( Rose ), Julieta ( wedding ring), Friar Lawrence ( Bible or Cross), Tybalt ( black or red sword ), Nurse (big heart ), Mercutio ( yellow sword ), Lady Capulet ( high heels ), Lord Capulet ( pinky ring 100k), Prince  ( Crown ), Paric ( Mirror ). Romeos rose means love and blood that he has and gave to Julieta. The way Rome will use rose is by giving his heart and blood for Julieta. Julieta and the wedding ring represents love and loyalty to Romeo. Julieta’s ring means love to Rome and the fact that she belongs only to him. Friar Lawrence is priest and a holy man, to show his loyalty to church and to the god we decided to characterise him by cross and the Bible. The way Friar Lawrence will use his Bible is to marry Juliet and Romeo, cross showing his love to God. Tybalt an aggressive man that likes to get into the fight, black or red sword represents his darkness and love for blood. Tybalt will use his sword in the fight with Mercutio. Nurse a woman that gives more support to Julieta then anybody alse, a heart represents love and support for Julita and her decisions. Nurse with her heart will protect Julieta from her tragedy and sadness. Mercutio a player and a good friend, yellow sword symbolize his courage and his skills of fighting. Mercutio and the yellow sword that he will use in the fight with Tybalt and that will protect Romeo. Lady Capulet Juliet's mother and ambitious woman, high hils represent her power that she thinks she has and her ambitions. Lady Capulet and her high heels will show how she feels that she is on top of the world and controls everything. Lord Capulet Juliet's dad strong and powerful man, pinky ring (100k) represent his wealthiness and his leadership in his family. Paris is the problem in Romeos and Juliets relationships, mirror represent self love and appreciation of him from other people. Parice will use his mirror to look at himself and think how handsome he is and how easy it will be for him get Julieta. Prince the most powerful character in the play, crown represent his place and his wealthiness. Prince will use his crown to show both families who has the power. The effect that those objects will bring to our production will be souls of the characters , their characteristics and ego. If I had to bring up my class mates as the characters of the play I would suges that for Romeo I would put myself because of freedom he has and how open I’am as a person. For Julieta I would put Nan because of her acting skills.  For Friar Lawrence I would put David because of his thinking and support. For Tybalt I would put Purdy because of how aggressive he is. For Mercutio I would put Jamael because he is big and strong. For Nurse I would put Helen because of their support and peaceful nature. For Lady Capulet Lesley I would put Lesley just because I can imagine her in that role. For Lord Capulet I would put Joey because of his look and acting skills. For Prince I would put Nia because of her leadership talent. For Paris I would put Joe because of his looks and the way he looks at himself.

The name of the play is “The Caucasian Chalk Circle” by Bertolt Brecht written in 1944 while he was living in America. Interesting fact about the performance is that it was initially made for Broadway, but the play didn’t go that far so students started presenting it in their schools and colleges. The play was initially translated by Eric Bentley. This play is based on the aftermath of WWII, in which the “villagers” are complaining on who will control the valley . This play focuses on an act of true love and courage performed by a servant girl named Grusha Vachnadze and how she is judged by society regarding to her choices. Ch 6/7

Chapter 6 starts with the description of the environment, and the growth of the seeds after the storm season which brought a large amount of rain on to the island. Later in the chapter, we can witness the conversation that Desiree is having with Tonton. That conversation shows the reader the conflict and the difference between the poor and the rich. Their conversation is mainly focused on Tonto describing his hometown Monsieur beau home. After listening to Tonto for a long time and hearing all those tempting things about Monsieur beau home, she is desperate to leave her village and see new opportunities and new life. "Caroline's Wedding"

The story that includes many characters and their struggle throughout the Story. "Caroline's Wedding" contains 3 main characters; the narrator Grace, older sister Caroline, and their mother Hermine. Each character has her own obstacle to get through.  The story begins with Grace receiving good news from the embassy, saying that she received U.S citizenship. She immediately called her mother and sister and shared the good news. Her mother told her immediately to make an appointment at the embassy and get her documents and her passport so that she can leave the country as soon as possible.  However, their family always had an issue with their paper works and documents.    On behave of the paper works and preparation to leave her home to porsue her future life and career, she has to stened between her mother and sisire becausethe get into fights/disagreements.
