The theater is a part of our culture, history, and future, our ancestors were educated from theaters the plays and by performers. Konstantin Stanislavski in one of his quotes said “ Create your own method. Don't depend slavishly on mine. Makeup something that will work for you! But keep breaking traditions, I beg you.” Stanislavski was known for creating a method acting, allowing actors to use their personal histories to express “authentic emotion” as well as “emotional memory” and create rich characters. After the method was created and well known after tours an around Europe and US other actors and teachers started using and involving the method of Stanislavski. This method was created to express “authentic emotion” as well as “emotional memory” and create rich characters, that audiences were looking for in the performances. The method of Stanislavski was the work of his life as he said in one of his Interviews.The lesson that I learned and might experience during my performance, must be both authentic emotion and emotional memory. The reason for that is the examples that all of the actors impressed during their interviews; audience like to see the actor as a real character who can feel his emotions and has an understanding of his personality. Also, it’s important fact is to develop a set of exercises that encourages actors to explore character motivations, giving performances depth and an unassuming realism while still paying attention to the parameters of the production. All of the actors that were presented by my classmates were related to the method of Stanislavski, as he said he doesn’t want anyone to copy his method he wants people to progress and improve the method. To create the scene that will impress and involve the method I must observe the character to show the full picture, an actor must serve as the people’s educator, only a permanent theatrical company could ensure a high level of acting skill. My performance will involve the emotional memory, but at the same time, my group will try to try both emotional memory method and improvisation. The emotional method will help us to create characters feeling from the past, improvisation will conclude the small parts of the scene that we will create during our performance.
