"Caroline's Wedding"

The story that includes many characters and their struggle throughout the Story.

"Caroline's Wedding" contains 3 main characters; the narrator Grace, older sister Caroline, and their mother Hermine. Each character has her own obstacle to get through. 

The story begins with Grace receiving good news from the embassy, saying that she received U.S citizenship. She immediately called her mother and sister and shared the good news. Her mother told her immediately to make an appointment at the embassy and get her documents and her passport so that she can leave the country as soon as possible.  However, their family always had an issue with their paper works and documents. 

  On behave of the paper works and preparation to leave her home to porsue her future life and career, she has to stened between her mother and sisire becausethe get into fights/disagreements. Everything started when she declared to her mother she wants to marry a man from the school that she works in whose name is "Eric". 
 In the end, everything turns in the proper and happy way, Caroline and her mother solve their conflict. Caroline gets married. "Caroline's Wedding" is the last story of Krik Krak, happy ending as I would say. Throughout the book, we can see that not all the characters make to the final, whether as, some get lucky and get an opportunity to start over again. However, moving from one place to another never means that it will be easy and there will be no obstacles or danger waiting for you where. ever. you might go. Moving to the U.S is just a half to fully fulfiling the dream.

Ch 6/7

Chapter 6 starts with the description of the environment, and the growth of the seeds after the storm season which brought a large amount of rain on to the island. Later in the chapter, we can witness the conversation that Desiree is having with Tonton. That conversation shows the reader the conflict and the difference between the poor and the rich. Their conversation is mainly focused on Tonto describing his hometown Monsieur beau home.
