Chapter three of the book talks about the man that Desiree found in the car crash after bathing. Desiree founded a man who was wounded and heart, however, she tried to save him and not let him die. People started showing up thinking that he was the Devil. However, Desiree started protecting him and trying to save his life. People were confused because they could not figure out who he was, where he came from, and what family he was from. Desiree decided to bring him back home and try to take care of him.
