Final essay

I remember the day my sophomore year when I went to college counselling, and that day, I had to decide what classes to choose for my future career as a student. At first I was assigned to IB Lang&Lit, however, after I’ve heard couple feedback from people that participated in IB Literature Performance I immediately changed my intentions and chose to take this class; and to be honest, I do not regret a single moment in that class. Throughout two years, I had an opportunity to learn, teach, participate, and express all the thoughts on my mind. This class gave me a vast number of possibilities, I became more mature I grew as a student and as a person; I could finally perform in front of people without being scared or shine I developed as a human.
I came into this class with a small idea of what it would be; however, I changed my mind after the first week, this class wasn’t only about performing reading and writing, this class bullied people into becoming more social and open to the rest of the world. I’ve learned how to be a leader, a performer, and in some way, a teacher who will show on my skills in future. My writing skills have progressed, thanks to all the reading and the blog post that we have done. This class allowed me to enjoy the time that was given to me to express and invest time in my idea’s, which gave me motivation for future projects. Writing essays, blog posts, and scripts made me develop a particular skill set that would then lead me to create new ideas for other classes and being able to write those ideas most excitingly and adequately possible.
Thinking, directions, and the ability to speak to the public are the main components of a successful career and life. Throughout multiple acts and rehearsals, I had developed a skill set which allowed me to perform and speak to and around the people successfully. During most of the project, I not only contributed as an actor I discovered talent or a skill that allowed me to participate in the group as a director and a person who got everyone together and tried to create proper content. From my experience as a student in this class, I can honourably say that I do not regret taking this class and that all that I have been taught in that class will be leading to me in future and helping me out with the career that I will pursue.
IB Literature & Performance wasn’t a regular class, it was casual, however, at the same time very productive. I have learned and enjoyed a vast amount of projects and information that I have concluded throughout those two years. I learned how to open myself to others and share, and those two factors are the most important ones.
Ms Guarion thanks for those two years, thanks for keeping up with me and enjoying all that time with the class. Hope you had a great time, and thanks for all the time that you invested.
